Someone told me yesterday that I look like Mylie Cyrus. I wasn't sure whether to be pleased, or insulted. I just chalked it up to them being either suffering from the heat, or not being exposed to females on a regular basis.

On another note, things are looking pretty apocalyptic in Russia. They're saying the fires may be spreading radiation from the old Chernobyl Contamination Zone, although it's not very severe contamination. Still, what a fun Summer.

As usual, I barely know who celebrities are, so I didn't really understand at the time. I had to look her up on the internet later, and yeah, she's not a real treat to look at. I guess. I suppose guys might find her attractive or something.

Can't do the beatdown thing. The guy looked pretty tough. Plus, he's a subordinate, so that sort of thing is frowned on. Not supposed to beat up junior personnel. It wasn't a creepy/lecherous comment thing. I think he was just trying to be nice. Still, bizarre.

This is why the position/rank of Chief Warrant Officer is so cool. You get paid more than enlisted persons and NCOs (sergeants and the like) and people have to give you "respect", but you aren't really in charge of anyone except yourself and generally get to do your own "thing". Plus, people don't think you're a brown-nosing, aloof little snot, like they think of most officers (Lieutenants, Captains and on up) as. It's a good deal.

Oh, pretty much any music that is played on Radio Disney isn't worth the electricity used to broadcast it. Otherwise that's a fairly accurate comparison and contrast between the two of you. I'd rather have you over for dinner any night, instead.
